Vintage Glamour Meets Vicious Fight

 The historic Enterprise Building in downtown San Bernardino was momentarily transported to a dazzling, high-stakes era this past Saturday evening, as Pinups4Cancer hosted its annual, inspirational vintage glam fundraiser. Held in the elegant 320 Premier Hall, the event was a captivating display of beauty, resilience, and unwavering community support—and City News Group was honored to be a part of the movement.

The atmosphere was electric as guests embraced the murder mystery theme, stepping onto the red carpet in full vintage regalia. Inside, the energy flowed between exciting casino games, a delightful dinner, and engaging, dramatic murder mystery segments—all set to captivating music. True to the pinup aesthetic, the sight of classic cars parked outside enhanced the nostalgic, glamorous occasion, setting the perfect stage for a night of magic.

City News Group was not merely present to report; we were there to participate and support. Our journalist and photographer on assignment, while capturing the heart of the story, chose to go a step further. generously donated hours of her time and expertise to the cause, photographing the entire event. We were proud to stand alongside other dedicated entities in attendance, all united in our desire to champion Pinups4Cancer's noble mission.

Pinups4Cancer is a nonprofit committed to uplifting women impacted by cancer, offering them free makeovers, vintage-style professional photo shoots, and glamorous events. The core mission is to celebrate the undeniable beauty of these women, irrespective of the health battles they bravely face.

The evening was dedicated to generating vital funds for an upcoming calendar launch party—a spectacular event that will honor the incredible women who have fought and continue to fight against cancer. This calendar, featuring numerous uplifting photo shoots held throughout the year, is more than just a date tracker; it’s a powerful declaration of strength and grace.

The magic woven at the latest Pinups4Cancer (PUFC) event was nothing short of spectacular, a testament to the unparalleled dedication of Stacy Serna and her amazing team. Once again, they delivered an unreplicated, truly unbeatable experience for every survivor, woman battling, and those overcoming the immense challenges that come with cancer. This wasn't just a fundraiser; it was a deeply felt embrace, a dazzling night dedicated entirely to appreciation and empowerment. Stacy's tremendous heart and ability to do so much for so many is a profound gift to this community. Her vision ensures that every woman feels seen, celebrated, and absolutely beautiful.

The event's flawless execution spoke volumes about the incredible teamwork and coordinated effort behind the scenes. From the smallest detail of the gorgeous decorations to the excitement generated by the generous raffle prizes, the diverse vendors, the talented photographers, and the presence of news outlets—not a single corner of the event was overlooked.
