Pumpkins, performances, and plenty of free fun return to Jurupa Valley as the community is invited to gather for the third annual Fall Festival at the Louis Robidoux Parkland and Pecan Grove (LRPPG).  The Festival will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 5370 Riverview Dr., Jurupa Valley, CA 92509. This free, family-friendly event has quickly become a local tradition, offering an afternoon of food, culture, and outdoor fun for all ages.

Building on the success of previous years, the 2025 festival promises both returning favorites and exciting new experiences. Families can decorate and take home free pumpkins from the patch, bounce in a pumpkin-shaped jumper, and enjoy free face painting. A festival-wide bingo game will give participants the chance to win tickets to Knott’s Scary Farm or Castle Dark, while local community partners invite attendees to trick-or-treat and engage in hands-on activities at hosted booths.  Guests can also enjoy complimentary tacos with both meat and vegan options, Kona Ice, and pizza while supplies last.

The Festival is also scheduled to feature year two of the Poster Contest and a new element, a plant sale featuring seeds and container stock grown in the on-site nursery. This year’s poster contest invited Jurupa Unified School District 4th–8th graders to create art responding to the theme of “Every Habitat is a Home.” Participants were challenged to reflect on how wildlife and plants depend on healthy spaces like LRPPG, and entries will be displayed on the LRPPG website.  Winners in two grade categories will receive giftcards totaling $150 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third. Jurupa Valley Mayor Brian Berkson is scheduled to present the awards to honor the young artists and the conservation messages captured in their work.

The native plant sale features 1-gallon plants grown in the LRPPG nursery from locally sourced seed, with every purchase directly supporting nursery operations and site restoration supporting habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. Supplies are limited, and shoppers can easily purchase using a QR code.  The plant sale is the only element of the Festival with a cost.

The entertainment lineup will bring the stage to life throughout the afternoon. The music begins at 1:30 PM with a lively performance by Kalli Tecpatl, followed by an hour-long Baile Folklórico showcase starting at 3:00 PM. The poster contest awards ceremony is scheduled at 4:00 PM and the festival will conclude at 5:00 PM.

Whether you come for the live performances, the children’s activities, or the chance to explore the Parkland, the LRPPG Fall Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the season. All ages are welcome, and admission, food, and activities are completely free. For the full schedule and details, visit louisrobidouxparkland.org/events.
