The first place winner in the assemblage category, Harry Farason, with his work entitled "Bi-plane." The piece was made from cereal boxes, a cup, bendy straws, styrofoam, cardboard markers, and recycled materials.

The first place winner in the mosaic category: "Peragrine Falcon" by Charles Petrovich a piece that was designed and cut out from an actual photo. Petrovich created the pattern out of several types of wood.

"Outhouse" by Daniel McCarthy featuring a small wood kit with embellishment including a remote controlled TV, bench, logs, cans, books, pine trees, and bird house to complete the look. The piece was featured in the woodwork category.

The winner of the Best in Show was Richard Waggoner for an original wood carving of a whimsical “Tower House” made entirely from an avocado branch.

Tom Fontane's piece was a collage made from news, postcards, buttons, money, and snafu scrabble pieces. In person the art in one angle appears as the Statue of Liberty, and in another Uncle Sam.
