On Saturday, April 18, Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) will host its 2nd Annual Family Play Day in San Bernardino at 1111 East Mill Street, from 10 am to 1 pm. Over 2,000 attendees are expected to attend this free family-oriented community event. The day offers over 40 booths full and exciting activities including story time, musical performances, physical activities, games, art and learning activities, and raffle prizes. Every child will go home with a free age appropriate book and families receive a bag of fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers– while supplies last. There will also be live entertainment from Multi-Cultural Music Tree, Yaya’s Story Time and YMCA’s Circus. We encourage you to bring the whole family. We will have something for all ages. Family Play Day is a time for families to learn through “play” with their children, as it is designed to be a fun event for children, parents, child care providers and community partners. This event provides hands-on activities for children of every age. Play Day is an example of the way in which the child development community comes together to educate and inform parents, at no cost to them, about the importance of early childhood education. If you would like more information about CCRC’s 2nd Annual Family Play Day event, please contact CCRC’s Communications Department at 1-866-67-4KIDS.
