VA Loma Linda to Host Veterans Town Hall

VA Loma Linda Healthcare System senior leadership will hold a Veterans’ Town Hall at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 in the auditorium of the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center located at 11201 Benton Street in Loma Linda. The town hall is designed to gain feedback from veterans, their family members and other beneficiaries. Senior leadership and other subject-matter experts from the local VA healthcare system will be present to improve communication with and hear directly from veterans and their families. VA also welcomes input from congressional stakeholders, veterans service organizations, non-governmental organizations and other community partners at the meeting. The Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center is the centerpiece of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. Opened in 1977, it is located ½ mile from its major affiliate, Loma Linda University. VA also provides primary care and mental health at outpatient clinics located in Blythe, Corona, Palm Desert, Murrieta, Rancho Cucamonga and Victorville.
