The loveable "Peanut" who helped inspire the comic strip titled "Peanut and Cashew, has passed away. Along with his closed friend "Cashew".  This team would provide many of our readers  with laughable moments in their weekly episodes created by cartoonist Gerald Gaitan.

We are grateful to Peanut and Cashew's owners Linda and Mike Stevanovich for sharing Peanut with the community where her provided many smiles and laughter.  We will miss you Peanut, and we thank you!
