Ontario Reign, the Inland Empire's own ice hockey team, paid a special visit to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital patients on November 13.

Approximately nine members of the team walked around several hospital units. The team played air hockey with the kids, colored pictures, played video games, flew paper airplanes and chatted with the patients.

This annual visit by the team paves the way for the upcoming Ontario Reign Jersey Night benefiting the hospital on December 14. During the game, Ontario Reign vs. Iowa Wild, players will wear custom Children's Hospital jerseys that will be auctioned off at the end of the evening. Last year's jersey auction raised more than $18,000 for Children's Hospital.
