Emergency care capabilities have expanded with the addition of a new pediatric transport helicopter serving Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

The specialized aircraft allows medical teams to quickly transport critically ill or injured children from across the region to the hospital for advanced treatment. The expansion is expected to significantly reduce response times and improve patient outcomes.

Hospital officials say the helicopter strengthens the region’s emergency response network and enhances access to specialized pediatric care.
