Eighth grade AVID students embarked on an inspiring trip to the University of California, Riverside (UCR) campus, marking the kickoff of their college tours experiences as they prepare to transition to high school.

The day was filled with excitement and exploration as students toured the picturesque campus, learning about the diverse academic programs and vibrant student life that UCR has to offer.

Engaging presentations from current students and faculty provided invaluable insights into the college experience, emphasizing the importance of higher education and setting goals for the future.

The visit not only ignited a passion for learning among the students but also helped to demystify the college admissions process, encouraging them to envision themselves on a college campus one day. This opportunity served as a key step in their educational journey, empowering them to strive for academic excellence and envision the possibilities that lie ahead.
