The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) is excited to announce the appointment of Khyati Mehta as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mehta will step into this key leadership role as former CFO Paula Myles transitions to the position of Director of Donor Services as a part of the Charitable Giving Team. In this newly created role, Myles will leverage her decades of experience and insights to enhance the donor experience and strengthen donor loyalty at IECF.

"Paula, who has served as IECF’s CFO for 26 years, will transition to the new role of Director of Donor Services, providing guidance and continuity during this period of leadership change,” said Michelle Decker, President and CEO of IECF. "Paula’s exceptional service over the years has been instrumental in shaping the Foundation’s financial health. Her expertise and dedication have left a lasting impact, and we are grateful for her ongoing contributions that will help us create a world-class donor experience at IECF."

Mehta has over 14 years of experience in finance and strategic financial management, having worked in senior financial leadership roles with organizations across various sectors. Before joining IECF, she was Senior Director of Finance at Riverside Community Health Foundation (RCHF), where she managed a $100 million investment portfolio, led budgeting processes, oversaw the accounting division, and presented investment and financial performance reports to committee and board members. Prior to RCHF, Mehta held key financial roles at Monster Energy Company, Miles CPA and CMA Review, Jainam Switchgear Product, and Deloitte & Touche AERS.

"We are excited to welcome Khyati to our team," said Decker. "Her background in finance, combined with her dedication to serving communities, will be invaluable as we continue to support our donors’ passions and advance our leadership initiatives in the Inland Empire. Khyati's leadership will ensure that IECF remains financially strong and well-positioned to achieve our vision for the future of the region.”

"I am thrilled to join the Inland Empire Community Foundation, where I can bring my passion for financial excellence, strategic vision, and years of expertise to promote impactful growth and success for the organization," said Khyati. "I look forward to collaborating with the dynamic, dedicated, and passionate team members at IECF."

As CFO, Mehta will be responsible for financial management, operations, investment management, and human resources. She will also work closely with IECF's Board of Directors and leadership team to align financial goals with the Foundation’s long-term vision.

Mehta holds a Bachelor’s degree from K. J Somaiya College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and discovering vegetarian restaurants with her husband and son.
