Freshman athlete Gavin Bedolla is already making a strong impression at Grand Terrace High School both in the classroom and on the field. At just 14 years old, Gavin has proven himself to be a dedicated student-athlete, maintaining an outstanding 4.0 GPA while balancing the demands of academics and athletics.

Gavin has been playing both baseball and basketball for 11 years and is currently a middle infielder for the GTHS baseball program. Known for his work ethic and determination, he spends much of his free time working out and continuing to improve his game.

His hard work has already paid off in several ways during his Freshman year. Gavin earned Principal’s Honor Roll and ACES recognition during the first semester of high school. On the baseball field, he was named JV Overall MVP after leading his team in stolen bases and runs scored. He also earned the opportunity to move up to Varsity during the CIF Playoffs to help support our Titans.

One memorable moment this season came during a game against Rialto. After making an error on a throw to first base early in the game, Gavin stayed composed and focused the rest of the way. Instead of letting the mistake affect him, he responded with confidence and determination, proving that hard work and mental toughness can make all the difference.

When asked who motivates him most, Gavin shared, “I’d say the biggest influences in my life are my mom in academics and my dad in sports. They both instilled a strong work ethic in me.”

Looking ahead, Gavin hopes to attend Ohio State University and continue playing baseball for as long as possible. His passion for the sport continues to grow, and one of his favorite baseball memories was traveling to Cooperstown, where he was able to compete while spending valuable time with friends and family.

A quote Gavin lives by is, “Don’t be upset by the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t do.” - Eric Thomas

This is only the beginning of Gavin Bedolla’s journey with Titan Nation. Through his leadership, discipline, and dedication both on and off the field, he has already made a lasting impression on the GTHS community. This Titan's future looks incredibly bright, and Titan Nation is excited to see all that he will accomplish in the years ahead. The best is yet to come.
