Family Festivities For Easter

Looking for a fun way to celebrate this Easter with your family? The Brook church, based out of Grand Terrace, is pleased to invite the entire community out for a day filled with special music, an Easter message, an egg hunt, Easter prizes, and gift card giveaways for the 3rd year in a row at Fiesta Village. Since 2005, they have hosted an Easter event in the area close to 10 times over the past 15 years, with the first event being held at Richard Rollins Park in Grand Terrace back in 2005.

With the local community in mind, gathering at Fiesta Village is a no brainer! Fiesta Village is a family environment, where families go to have fun together. “We wanted to go out into our community and put something fun together for families to enjoy,” says Eric Doucette, Pastor of The Brook.

“We want to provide something that allows us to celebrate Easter together. To let the community know that we are here for them and their families, and that we care, and more important that God cares, and He wants to use us to show it.  Most of the people from our church live in the community and it’s an opportunity for them to invite their friends and neighbors,” explains Doucette.

With the hope that residents and community members have a fun time together as a family, The Brook’s goal is to show that Easter has an even greater meaning and power than Easter bunnies and candy.

In the past there was a petting zoo with live animals and some pretty well known musical guests, this year however, will feature an egg hunt for the kids with exciting prizes, of course some Easter candy and snacks, giveaways and gift cards to places such as Stater Brothers, Walmart and even some local restaurants! Everyone will have an opportunity to win, when they are greeted with a smile, a hand shake, and a ticket when they come enter the park. This is a free event, its open to all! Please come out for good time, invite your friends and family!

The Brook Church has been in the Grand Terrace area since 2004, and meets Sunday mornings at Grand Terrace High School at 10am. They have children and youth ministry available during service and look forward to doing more in the community.  The office is located at 22533 Barton Road. Their website is thebrook.cc and they can be reached via phone at 909-424-0010.
