SAN BERNARDINO>> San Bernardino County Assistant Sheriff Dave Williams is retired on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, following a 32 and a half year career with the department. Williams was raised in the City of Highland where he resides today with his wife, Francine. Together they have four children; Dean, Brittany, Cory and Lindsay. Williams began his career with the Sheriff’s Department in 1984 as a Motor Pool Services Assistant. He was hired as a deputy trainee in 1986 and graduated from the 86th Academy in early 1987.
