LLUH Offers New Medicare Senior Advantage Plans

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) now offers medicare beneficiaries new Medicare Senior Advantage plan options through United Healthcare. Three Part C Medicare Advantage HMO plans will be accepted by Loma Linda University Health primary care physicians through AARP Medicare Complete – Secure Horizons by United Healthcare. Individuals can sign up for the plans during the current Medicare open enrollment period from Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2014 for an effective date of Jan. 1, 2015. A number of one-hour informational meetings are being offered to the public to learn more about the plans. The meetings cover Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage plans’ benefits. Highland Springs Ave., Beaumont Nov. 19 10 a.m. Drayson Center, LLU 25040 Stewart St., Loma Linda Nov. 21 2 p.m. Yucaipa Senior Center 12202 First St., Yucaipa Nov. 24 10 a.m. Drayson Center, LLU 25040 Stewart St., Loma Linda RSVPs preferred.
