LLUH Offers New Medicare Senior Advantage Plans

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) now offers medicare beneficiaries new Medicare Senior Advantage plan options through United Healthcare. Three Part C Medicare Advantage HMO plans will be accepted by Loma Linda University Health primary care physicians through AARP Medicare Complete – Secure Horizons by United Healthcare. Individuals can sign up for the plans during the current Medicare open enrollment period from Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2014 for an effective date of Jan. 1, 2015. A number of one-hour informational meetings are being offered to the public to learn more about the plans. The meetings cover Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage plans’ benefits. San Gorgonio Ave., Banning Nov. 14 10 a.m. Gonzales Center 670 Colton Ave., Colton Nov. 18 10 a.m. Highland Springs Medical Plaza 81 S. Highland Springs Ave., Beaumont Nov. 19 10 a.m. Drayson Center, LLU 25040 Stewart St., Loma Linda Nov. 21 2 p.m. Yucaipa Senior Center 12202 First St., Yucaipa Nov. 24 10 a.m. Drayson Center, LLU 25040 Stewart St., Loma Linda RSVPs preferred.
