Building a Kingdom One Animal at a Time

They are there for you after any long exhaustive day, after a day that just didn’t go your way and they are there during some of the best moments of your life, adding an extra smile to everyone’s face. Sometimes they greet you with a smile, run up as soon as they hear the door close behind you and jump into your arms, or some even tell you how excited and happy they are to see you with a wholesome- bark/woof.

Pets are there with us throughout our journeys, sitting or rolling over right by our side. Our pets provide us with comfort and love and whenever we can, we should provide the love right back.

In December of 2018, young married couple Kyle and Raychel Hinshaw took a leap of faith and turned their passion for pets into not only a career but a dedication to nurturing the life and love we have for our pets.

After over a decade of working with pets, Kyle and Raychel opened Animal Kingdom, which provides pet grooming, training and daycare services. Wanting to provide even more than just grooming, training and daycare, Kyle and Raychel, promise much more.

“Our mission is to provide love and care throughout your journey of being fur parents. In doing so, we pride ourselves in being honest and only offering the best care for your fur pets.”

If you were to take your pet to Animal Kingdom, you and your pet need not worry because you will be greeted and warmly welcomed into a safe, caring and most importantly a- cage-free environment! Your pet will never be left alone in a cage, instead they will run, play and fetch in Animal Kingdom’s backyard. Even the most nervous and shy pets will be able to feel at home.

Animal Kingdom, a family-run business, is not only set apart by their positivity and complete understanding for each individual fury friend, but also by their pursuit to help the community.

“With our passion for animals, we knew we wanted to build a kingdom that would grow and make a difference in the community. Something that one day our three young children could take over and continue to make a difference.”

Through it all, owning their own small business and raising a family, Kyle and Raychel lead their life through faith.

“Overall we always want to live out Matthew 6:33, to bring God the Glory and to build His kingdom and of course, His animal kingdom.”

Animal Kingdom is located at 2861 S La Cadena Dr. in Colton. They offer a variety of packages ranging from a bath package starting at $20, basic dog or cat grooming starting at $45, daycare starting at $12 and a 6-week obedience training for $165. For dog owners or individuals who want to become certified in dog grooming, Animal Kingdom also provides a hands-on grooming academy that will get you certified.

If you want to get your pet holiday ready for the best family photos, bathed and groomed for a play date, or just provide extra love and care, call Kyle and Raychel from Animal Kingdom at (951) 367-5200 to schedule an appointment or follow their Facebook page @Animalkingdomie for the latest pictures and appointment information.
