On January 17, 2020 the Redlands Republican Women's Club is pleased to announce that Brian Sylva, who will be discussing the Propositions in the upcoming election, will be our featured speaker at the Club's luncheon meeting. The meeting will be held at the Redlands Country Club starting at 11:30 am, with lunch served at noon and the presentation scheduled at 12:30 pm. The cost for lunch is $20 and reservations must be made by January 15. For reservations call Laurie Tremain at (909)792-2501. If you want to hear the speaker and not have lunch, there is no cost and there will be seats available. College students are invited to attend and lunch will be free for them.

Brian Sylva was elected in November 2016 to represent Trustee Area One on the Beaumont Unified School District Board. He is a longtime resident of the Inland Empire and has established long standing civic ties to the community. Mr. Sylva is past President of the Board of Directors for the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Directors for the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Healthcare District from 2014 to 2017.

Mr. Sylva is the Sports Information Director at College of the Desert and formerly held that same position at San Bernardino Valley College for 9 years. He has honed his skill within the field of Sports Information, using marketing strategies and social media campaigns learned during his time as chief strategists to many local and statewide political races; and nearly a decade as a reporter for the Riverside Press-Enterprise covering high school and community college sports.

Brian Sylva graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2004 with a Bachelor Degree in History. He and his wife, Jennie Rose, have been married 14 years, and they have recently adopted twins!
