Guy Penrod Tickets Nearly Sell Out

ALL>> Advance tickets for the August 20 concert by Grammy award-winning gospel artist Guy Penrod are still available online and by telephone, but sponsors of the event advise the tickets are approaching sell-out status in some seating categories. Penrod is known to millions for his award-winning recordings and for his televised appearances as the former lead singer with the Gaither musical organizations. His rare Inland Empire concert will be at Loma Linda University Seventh-day Adventist Church. The 7:30 p.m. live event is part of his “Pray about Everything” national tour and a highlight of the local church’s special “camp-meeting” programs for members and the community during August. Ticket sales for the concert opened June 1 at www.itickets.com and (800) 965-9324, explains concert coordinator Dr. Bob Soderblom. All-reserved-seat prices range from $10 to $30 depending on location, with prime-seat VIP tickets $50 each. Early ticket buyers have first choice for seat locations in each price category and those hoping to sit with family or friends should reserve before seating together in the preferred section becomes unavailable. Information about the Loma Linda concert, including directions to the church, is available on a recorded concert telephone line at (909) 795-4960. The church is at 11125 Campus St., in Loma Linda, California. Tickets are not being sold at the church, however, and none will be available at the doors when they open at 7 p.m. that night for the 7:30 concert. Popular credit cards are accepted for advance ticket sales and concertgoers can enjoy free covered parking in a structure immediately across Campus Avenue from the church, Soderblom said. The concert is co-sponsored by the host church and the nearby Calimesa Seventh-day Adventist Church, in collaboration with the Calimesa Community Concert Series.
