Deputies Arrest Man for Theft of Car Batteries

LOMA LINDA>> On Sunday, March 2, 2017, in the early morning hours, deputies from Central Station assigned to the city of Loma Linda received a call for service at Spreen Honda Dealership in the city of Loma Linda. Deputies arrived at the scene and spoke with Scott Diedrich, a resident of Highland. Deputies discovered Diedrich was in possession of 11 stolen car batteries taken from the dealership. Through additional investigation, it was discovered Deiedrich was connected to an additional three thefts at the dealership. Deputies recovered stolen property valued at approximately $2,000.
