Cal Baptist University Choir and Orchestra Performance

The California Baptist University (CBU) Collinsworth School of Music will present a concert at the Loma Linda University Church featuring the CBU Choir and Orchestra, composed of over 150 vocalists and instrumentalists, on March 7. The concert will be under the direction of Dr. Judd Bonner, dead of the Collinsworth School of Music and is part of the 83rd Annual Postgraduate Convention of the Alumni Association of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. The choir and orchestra perform around 50 concerts annually. According to a press release from CBU, “The group embodies what it means to be a student in the CBU music program; excitement and passion for worship, honoring your art with discipline, genuine engagement with every audience, expressing undeniable joy and charisma, and most importantly, using one’s musical gifts to worship.” Throughout the y ears the group has produced around 15 CDs, with the most recent one titled “How Excellent, Live.” Tickets are also available at Sound Theology Music Store in Redlands, the Student Affairs office of Loma Linda University, 11139 Anderson St, or Loma Linda University School of Medicine Alumni Association office at 11245 Anderson Street, Suite 200. All seating is reserved. Golden Circle VIP tickets, prime front center seating are $50. Other reserved main floor tickets are $20, $15 and $10. Those wishing to attend are advised to purchase tickets early for best seating. Tickets for the concert are now on sale and can be obtained by calling 909-558-0503 Ticket purchases may be charged to MasterCard or VISA credit cards.
