Painter Richard Stergulz Comes to Loma Linda

San Bernardino attorney and artist Julie Evans displays the Old Masters-style painting, “Still Life with Jug,” that won her the grand prize in the Loma Linda Cultural Arts Association’s Fine Arts Festival. Evans it took nearly a year, painting primarily on Mondays, to complete the work of art.

In this excerpted portion of a self-portrait titled “And Miles to Go Before I Sleep,” Southern California artist Richard Stergulz depicts the struggles of a painter with more to accomplish than time to get everything done. Stergulz will present a demonstration of his painting techniques at the June 12 meeting of the Loma Linda Cultural Arts Association.
