Paralympic Gold Medalist Ronan Tynan to keynote 9th Annual Women’s Conference

LOMA LINDA>> On Friday, May 5, Loma Linda University Health's 9th annual Women's Conference will take place at the Riverside Convention Center. 

 

Over 1,000 residents and non-residents are expected to attend the event. 

 

This year's theme is "Find Your Healthy Ever After, Hear the Music of Your Soul."

 

Those in attendance will get to witness the latest in health and wellness trends, as presented by local specialists. Topics to be covered will include, breakout sessions, nutrition, mental health and aging, menopause and hormones, osteoporosis, sleep strategies, foot health, financial strategies, and healthy living. 

 

Eighteen-time Paralympic gold medalist, Ronan Tynan will deliver the morning keynote address, while Vijay Gupta, a violinist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic will deliver the afternoon address. 

 

Tynan is internationally known for his story of achievement. Gupta is a renowned advocate for the presence of artistic voices in social issues.

 

For the ninth time at the Women’s Conference, K-FROG’s Heather Froglear will emcee the event.

 

"This will be a time for women to develop friendships, hear encouraging messages, gain new insights, strengthen their spirits, and gather with women who share their same goals and passions. There will be a number of exhibits available that participants may visit and shop, as well as a number of health screenings that will be offered free of charge to those who wish to take advantage of these opportunities.
