LOMA LINDA>> On Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at approximately 12:21 pm, deputies B. Ortiz and M. Gascon responded to a call at the parking lot of the Stater Bros. Market in Loma Linda. Callers were reporting a male subject, later identified as Steven Michael Williams, was masturbating in the parking lot of the location. Deputies approached Williams while he sat in a parked vehicle. Williams appeared to be reaching for an object and refused to follow deputies' commands to stop reaching. Deputies quickly removed and detained Williams. A search was conducted of the area Williams was reaching for, and deputies located a baton type weapon. After further investigation, deputies learned Williams had been in the parking lot of the location observing young females and masturbating in public while looking at the females. A records check revealed that Williams was a wanted fugitive from the State of Arizona for an assault charge. Williams was arrested, transported and booked into the Central Detention Center. Pima County, Arizona placed a hold on Williams as he is a fugitive from their jurisdiction. Williams is being held without bail. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Central Station at (909)387-3545. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME(27463) or may leave information on the website at www.wetip.com.
