The Zonta Club of Redlands is calling on female students to take advantage of three scholarships offered by the club: the Jane M. Klausman, the Edina Steinman and the Deborah Roberts scholarships. Women who qualify for the Jane M. Klausman Scholarship are enrolled at least in their second year of undergraduate studies up to the final year of a master's program in business, leading to a business management career. This scholarship is worth $1,000; the recipient of the Redlands sponsored award will automatically compete for the District Jane M. Klausman Scholarship and potentially the International Jane M. Klausman Scholarship. The Edina Steinman Scholarship is for women who are re-entry students. This scholarship has been established to assist women returning to college after a period of disruption from formal schooling. The scholarship is worth $1,200 and is used to support the educational expenses incurred. The Deborah Roberts Scholarship is for women pursuing degrees in a medical field. The scholarship is for $1,500. All applicants must currently be enrolled as a full-time student, in good standing, at an accredited institution of higher learning to receive scholarship awards. For information and an application for each of these scholarships, send an email query to the Scholarship Committee at redlandszonta@hotmail.com. The deadline for each of these scholarships is March 14.
