The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House is kicking off the giving season with its inaugural A Few Good Men Gala, honoring eight Inland Empire leaders for their commitment to improving the quality of life in their community. The honorees for the evening include Ontario Mayor Paul Leon, Steve Eckerson, Citizens Business Bank Arena; Mike Gallo, Kelly Space & Technology; Derek Hanson, Tom Bell Auto Group; Michael Krouse, Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau; Ryan Lewis, Ontario Firefighters Association; Jack Long, Fontana Foundation of Hope; and Dan Tate, Majestic Land & Don Ferrarese Foundation. The event will include a red carpet entrance, silent and live auction, cocktails, and delicious food. Those interested in supporting the event can contact Danielle Grout at (909) 558-8323 or dgrout@rmhcsc.org. The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House works to keep families close to their critically-ill child. The House is located steps from Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, allowing families to access critical medical care while keeping them close by and together so they can heal and cope better together. Since opening on Sept. 11, 1996, the House has served more than 19,000 families and is in the middle of a $12 million expansion to double its size and meet the growing need for its services. The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House is one of six Houses operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. For more information, readers can visit http://rmhcsc.org/lomalinda
