Hundreds of locals came out last year to the Loma Linda Fire Department on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks, for the unveiling of the one-of-a-kind memorial which honors those who died there.

A memorial stands in Loma Linda in honor of those who lost their lives in the attacks. This year, Americans throughout the nation are encouraged once again to observe a moment of silence and to remember those who lost their lives and gave their lives on that tragic day.
