Loma Linda Welcomes Chase Bank

A large crowd of local leaders, business owners and residents gathered recently to welcome Chase bank to the community of Loma Linda The new bank had its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony to signified the first Chase bank in the community of Loma Linda, adding 10 new jobs and a range of financial services and products for area residents that include financial planning tools, mortgage origination services, auto loans and credit cards. The bank, also features express banking kiosks that offer traditional ATM services and allows customers to make credit card payments and cash withdrawals in denominations of $1, $5, $20 or $100; and the ability to instantly issue working debit cards for customers who open new accounts or need replacement cards. “Many banks are cutting their branch network, but Chase continues to grow across San Bernardino County,” said Maria Garcia, Market Manager for the Chase retail network. Garcia continued, “We are determined to provide the most convenient banking experience for our customers. Our branches are advice centers—destinations where local residents can have comprehensive conversations about their financial life, whether that’s financing their first home or preparing for retirement.” Five years ago, Chase had no presence in California, but has grown steadily to include over 1,045 branches throughout the state. In San Bernardino County, Chase has a customer base of over 470,000 consumer customers and 23,000 business customers with 42 branches countywide, according to chase spokesperson Suzanne Alexander Ryan.
