LOMA LINDA>> On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, Deputy B. Ortiz responded to a call in the City of Loma Linda placed by several juveniles who were home alone. The juveniles reported to Dispatch that a female entered their residence without permission. The female was later identified as Yahshon Wilson, a transient who primarily stays in the City of Loma Linda. Wilson entered the residence, scared the juveniles and ordered them out of their own residence. The scared juveniles acted appropriately and sought refuge by locking themselves in a room and calling 911. The juveniles did an outstanding job by providing Sheriff's Dispatch with an accurate description of the female suspect and the direction they saw the suspect fleeing from their residence. Ortiz arrived within three minutes of being dispatched to the call and began to search the area. Ortiz located Wilson fleeing from the location. Further investigation identified Wilson entered the residence and had taken money, clothing, beer and other items. Wilson was wearing clothing she had taken from the victims when she was arrested. All of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the victims. A records check revealed Wilson had an active no bail warrant for a previous burglary arrest. Wilson was arrested for residential robbery, residential burglary and the outstanding warrant. Wilson was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and held with no bail available.
