San Bernardino County Residents Can Receive Free Flu Shots at Senior Center

Residents can receive free flu shots at the Loma Linda Senior Center. From 4 to 6 p.m. at on Jan. 27, residents will have the opportunity to receive a flu shot free of charge and discover Loma Linda’s local point of Dispensing (POD) site, a location where the community can go to receive medication and/or vaccinations during a public health emergency, such as a pandemic influenza or bioterrorism. Free flu shots will be available to: • Those ages four or older. A parent/guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age • Those children under age nine who may require two doses of flu vaccine (four weeks apart) based on prior vaccination history • Pregnant women, offered on a first come, first served basis due to limited supply. The Loma Linda Senior Center is located at 25571 Barton Rd., Loma Linda.
