LOMA LINDA>> The Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Empire hosted their 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon on Friday, Oct. 28. Sponsors from throughout the Inland Empire came out for a beautiful day on the golf course and to support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House. Frontier Communications, a sponsor of the event, presented a check for $5,000 to adopt a room at the Ronald McDonald House, the proceeds of which will directly benefit the day to day operations of the Ronald McDonald House. “Frontier Communications is proud to fulfill its mission to help families and children by working with Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Empire to Adopt a room for 2017. It is important for us to give back to the organizations that support the local communities we serve,” said Collette Combre, West Regional Marketing Manager. “It is our hope that through this partnership we can help provide comfort, care and support to hundreds of families when they need it most.” The donation comes at an exciting time for the Ronald McDonald House. Just over a year ago, the House announced plans to expand the 21 guest room facility. By the end of the year, the newly expanded and remodeled facility will open to serve 54 families each night; more than twice the number of families served in the original facility and tripling the square footage.
