2nd Annual Children's Fund and Girl Scouts Toy Drive Seeking Donations

The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council joins Children’s Fund for a second year to collect toys for the Girl Scouts' Annual Celebration of Giving Campaign. Girl Scouts will once again take on the task of collecting new, unwrapped toys from all around their communities to deliver to Children’s Fund for distribution. The toys are collected, sorted and delivered to different communities throughout the Inland Empire. Last year, the first delivery in mid-December 2013 yielded over 250 gifts and toys. It was a heartwarming scene to watch Girl Scouts sort through overflowing carts of toys while beaming with pride. A second delivery brought even more joy to needy children during the holiday season. This year, the Girl Scouts hope to break last year’s record of 283 toys by asking the public to participate by bringing a new, unwrapped gift valued at $10 or more to any of their service centers. Girl Scouts will be collecting donations from Nov. 4 through Dec. 12. Gifts for both boys and girls, between the ages of 5 to 18, are appreciated. Donation centers include: • Executive Offices and Central Service Center 1751 Plum Lane, Redlands, CA 92374 P: 909-307-6555 • High Desert Service Center 17189 Yuma Street, Unit 1, Victorville, CA 92395 P: 760-596-4825 • Low Desert Service Center 75-180 Mediterranean Suites A & B, Palm Desert, CA 92211 P: 760-779-5152 • Southwest Service Center 26855 Jefferson Avenue, Suite B, Murrieta, CA 92562 P: 951-813-3355
