The Grove Theatre invites you to enjoy a great evening of entertainment, “Upland's Got Talent, A Furry Fundraiser,” on Oct. 17, hosted by Jo Anne Worley and Fred Willard. Ms. Worley, who we first met on Rowan and Martin's “Laugh-In”, is a well known comedienne and star of television, films, theater, game shows, talk shows, commercials, and cartoons. Fred Willard, actor, comedian, voice actor and writer, who first came to prominence in “Fernwood Tonight” and has since been nominated for four prime-time Emmys, will also perform with his improvisational group, the MOHOs. Joining them on the stage are Jay Johnson, Tony Award winning ventriloquist and actor, along with his puppet, Bob; award winning magician, Greg Wilson, also known as "The Honest Conman", who specializes in close-up magic, sleight-of-hand and confidence trickery; singing duo Todd Sherry and Heather Ott; country duo Eric and Vanessa; tap dancer Michael Skrzek; and Sherry Kinison, owner of The Grove and well known Gospel and blues vocalist. This family-friendly performance beings at 7:29 pm with a pre-show wine and cheese reception at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the evening support Actors and Others for Animals, a California non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion of the humane treatment of animals. Tickets are $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door, and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, on www.grovetheatre.com or by visiting The Grove box office. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786. Box Office Hours (except holidays) Tuesday – Friday: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
