CRIME REPORT: Loma Linda Deputies arrest a man for possession of a dagger in the area of Baron Rd and Hillcrest St.

On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 9:22 a.m. Deputies D. Lopez and E. Dominick, from the Sheriff's Central Station (Loma Linda), conducted a pedestrian check and contacted Juan Hernandez, of San Bernardino, in the area of Barton Rd. and Hillcrest Street. A records check revealed Hernandez had five outstanding warrants for his arrest for drug related charges. DuriNg a search incident to his arrest, Hernandez was found in possession of a homemade dagger in his back pocket. Hernandez was arrested and transported to Central Detention Center for booking. During the booking process, Hernandez was searched again and jail deputies located a plastic bag containing methamphetamine inside his sock. Hernandez was booked into Central Detention Center for Possession of a Dagger and Taking Drugs into a Jail.
