Join the Musical Theater Camp "Cinderella" to discover all the secrets of the theater and celebrate the excitement of the ball, the magic of the fairy godmother and see how a shoe changes a girl's life. In the Musical Theater Camp, hosted by Stars of Tomorrow, kids ages 6 and up will uncover the magic of the theater in the areas of acting, dancing, singing, backstage work, costumes, scenery, prop-making, theatre lights and sound, theater make-up and more, officials said. Children are challenged according to their age and ability giving the younger children a safe place to blossom and discover their talent while giving the older/more experienced children a chance to develop and deepen their knowledge of theater arts. They are taught by a staff of directors, musicians, choreographers, playwrights and actors in the goal to educate and entertain young people, according to the Stars of Tomorrow website. Camp will meet Monday through Friday starting July 6 through July 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Redlands. The performance will be held Friday, July 10 at 1 p.m. Every camper will have a speaking role in the Broadway-style musical production "Cinderella," complete with sets and costumes. Tuition for every child's 25-hour involvement is $200 and includes camp t-shirt, snacks and crafts. Early registration is encouraged, but first day sign-ups on July 6 are welcomed. For more information and/or registration, visit www.starsoftomorrowchildrenstheater.com, email starsoftomorrowct@gmail.com or call 909-335-1082.
