In previous years, Caden has organized donations of stuffed bears for the hospital, bringing comfort to children during the holiday season.

Caden Henderson, 16, a former patient of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, is raising money to purchase iPads for current hospital patients to assist in entertainment for patients in isolation, family e-visits, distraction tools during procedures, and more. Caden’s experience at the hospital and time with the child life specialist team made a lasting impact on him, inspiring him to give back. Since his treatment in 2016, Caden has raised $1,500 to purchase a gaming console for future patients, donated more than 1,000 stuffed bears to give patients on Christmas Day, and in 2020, raised $9,900 to purchase iPads for patient use. Apart from his philanthropic endeavors, Caden is a high school student and the youngest contributing writer for Inland Empire Community News. Give now and be a part of Caden Gives Back 2021 — working together with Children’s Hospital to make a difference in the lives of patients. For more local news and information click here.
