The Ekso Skeleton robot, the newest technology at LLUMC – East Campus, helps stroke patients who have minimal to no movement in their legs get back on their feet again.

LOMA LINDA>> Loma Linda University Medical Center was recently designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.   On Tuesday, June 20, between 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., an event demonstrating the InMotionARM interactive therapy system, a robot used for upper extremity rehabilitation will take place. The InMotionARM focuses on improving the patient’s range of motion, coordination, strength movement speed and smoothness.  The Ekso Skeleton robot, the newest technology at LLUMC – East Campus, helps stroke patients who have minimal to no movement in their legs get back on their feet again.  There will also be a presentation of the stroke backpack, the contents of which are critical during the initial moments after a person has a stroke.
