Detectives Identify Suspect for Hometown Buffet Robbery

Jeffrey Tuli was positively identified as the suspect who committed a recent robbery at Hometown Buffet in Loma Linda.

LOMA LINDA >> An unknown suspect entered Hometown Buffet June 24 and robbed the location using a firearm. The unidentified suspect fled the location and was last seen heading west through the parking lot. Deputies responded to the business and conducted an area check but were unable to locate or identify the suspect. Detectives Ruiz and Lara from Sheriff's Central Station continued to investigate the unsolved crime. Working with detectives from Riverside County and Sheriff's Rancho Cucamonga Station, Ruiz and Lara received information and identified Jeffrey Tuli as a possible suspect. Ruiz and Lara conducted a follow-up Aug. 17 and spoke with an employee from Hometown Buffet. Using a photographic line-up, the employee positively identified Tuli as the suspect who committed the robbery. Tuli is currently being held in Riverside County Jail and is believed to be responsible for various other robberies and crimes within Riverside, Orange and San Bernardino counties.
