INLAND EMPIRE>> Nominations are now open for the Inland Empire Global Innovation Awards.

The Center for Global Management, located in the Jack H. Brown College of Business & Public Administration at CSUSB, seeks to award innovative companies in the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Awards will be handed out in three categories during the award ceremony on Wednesday, May 17, at 8:00 a.m.

The first category is Global Innovator/Leadership, for companies that have had to persevere in order to succeed or who have struggled with and survived numerous challenges. The award received is in recognition of their ability to strategize and increase their overall presence.

The second category is Emerging Global Innovator. Companies are recognized for their ability to either open a market that is new or for their past success in furthering the goals of the Inland Empire's economic development. Those nominated will have the chance to participate in a fast pitch competition, to take place on May 17, or provide a fast pitch video.

The third category is Student Innovator. This award recognizes any student who is currently attending a post-secondary institution in the San Bernardino County. The student will have demonstrated leadership skills and made a contribution to the global trade community in the Inland Empire. Those nominated must present a poster that represents the story of an Inland Empire business' global innovation story.
