UCLA Football Team Members Enjoy Friday Movie Day with Patients

Members of the UCLA Bruins football team ventured out to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) Friday, July 24 to enjoy a movie day with patients. Fourteen freshman players visited the hospital in the Stater Bros. Activity Center to enjoy an afternoon complete with popcorn, candy and drinks while watching “The Gameplan.” The visit was part of the players’ community service commitment with the team, which also trains at California State University, San Bernardino for open training camp in the summers. This is the fourth year CSUSB has hosted Bruins football for training, with support from Stater Bros. Markets. UCLA’s 2014 football season will kick off when the Bruins take on University of Virginia at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Sept. 5.
